A Story Written by the Land
It all started nearly two decades ago.
Our founder, Todd, had a dream. Not just any dream, but a Texas-sized vision to turn a thick forest on the outskirts of Houston into a cattle ranch. Back then, it wasn’t even a ranch—just a wild stretch of trees, brush, and untamed land. But Todd saw something more. He saw a place where cattle could roam, where horses could run free, and where his family could share the country life under that big, Texas sky.
His son, Parker, took to that vision like a fish to water.
From the crack of dawn to the last light of dusk, they worked the land, side by side. Building fences, clearing brush, digging ponds—every inch of that ranch was carved out with hard work and a whole lot of heart. And then came the barn. It was a simple thing, half horse stables, half a place to catch some sleep after a long day’s work. But to us, it was everything. It was home.
We found ourselves at the ranch more and more…
Whether it was tending to the cattle, mending fences, or just taking in the beauty of a Texas summer day. We’d jump in the pond to cool off, cast a line just for the fun of it, and laugh with friends and family around a campfire under the stars. It was a place where memories were made—good, honest memories.
One day, a friend came to us with a request that caught us off guard.
“Can we get married here?” they asked. Now, we didn’t know the first thing about hosting a wedding, but not knowing something had never stopped us before. So, we said yes. And just like that, The Barn at Four Pines Ranch held its first wedding, right there under the four pine trees that had stood tall on this land long before we did.
There was something about that day that just felt right.
The joy, the love, the pride in being part of something so meaningful—it stuck with us. And before we knew it, what started as a cattle and horse ranch turned into a premier wedding venue. In 2015, that one request changed everything, and ten years later, we’ve hosted nearly a thousand weddings.
Through it all, we’ve remained a family operation…
Grounded in the same values that built this ranch. Our goal is simple: to welcome our guests with open arms, to let them feel the peace and beauty of these 54 acres, and to share a piece of what we love so much about this land. We’re proud of what we do, and we’re going to keep doing it for as long as we can.
